The Avondale Community Council is supporting the 100 or
so members of the
Avondale Youth Council in entrepreneurial ventures such
as a garden/market at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church,
and in Avondale-wide programs such as CeaseFire and Do
Right!

Covington
Covington residents are being recruited to serve as mentors
in Covington schools. The program is a partnership of
Covington Partners in Prevention, Big Brothers/Big Sisters
and the Center for Great Neighborhoods.
