Workforce Development

Avondale
The Urban League, the Avondale Community Council and a roundtable of employers in Avondale are working to connect Avondale’s many employers with employees from the neighborhood. Students from the Great Oaks Health Professions Academy, located in Avondale, are preparing for work at Avondale’s hospitals and hospital subcontractors, while other residents have found work on the building projects taking place along Burnet Avenue.
For more information contact Bill Witten of the Avondale Community Council at (513) 281-4414.

Price Hill
Price Hill Employment Network (PHEN) uses a four-step process to help Price Hill’s adults move toward economic self-sufficiency. The process includes helping adults to prepare for, find, keep, and position themselves for better jobs, including enrollment in a post-secondary educational institution.
For more information contact Nicole Ware at 513.744.WORK (9675) or nware@cincinnatiworks.org.
