Felicity
Felicity is a community located in southwest Ohio 45 minutes south of Cincinnati in the middle of Franklin Township. Felicity is a small rural community with a wonderful rural character and a long tradition of residents coming together to work on community improvements. It is clear that people care about this place deeply and are willing to work towards positive community change.

To implement place matters in Felicity the recommendation is to support the following goals (For more on this selection process click here):

I. YOUTH SUCCEED
Increase opportunities for youth to participate in community projects and connect with community institutions. The strategy to achieve this goal is to implement youth leadership programs beyond the school day for young adults.

II. PROPERTY IMPROVEMENT
Buildings in the Village are rated in good condition. The strategies to achieve this goal are to develop a minor-upgrade, facade improvement program and to enforce Village housing and Township zoning codes.

III. CRIME & SAFETY
Improve perception of the Village as it pertains to crime activity. The strategies to achieve this include increasing community awareness and Village and Township police collaboration that lead to a safer neighborhood.
