Illuminated TextArchives and special collections materials may serve various uses. Principally they are intended for scholarly research.

Another major purpose for the archival and special collections is to support internal Xavier University functions, including publishing efforts. Materials can be used for exhibit purposes, for discussions or for other classroom endeavors. In no case should the collection be compromised because of the manner of use.

Researchers are required to complete a Patron Registration Form and read the Patron Use Guidelines prior to their use of the collections.
