Xavier @ UCX Autumn Showcase
The 2012 UCX Autumn Showcase was a tournament co-hosted by the Ultimate Frisbee teams of University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. This tournament, Xavier's first of the season, featured top D-I and D-III competition from the Ohio Conference and the surrounding area. On Saturday, Xavier's B.L.O.B. started with a quick 2-0 record with wins over Bellarmine and a hard fought victory over Wooster. Both SUNY Fredonia and SUNY Buffalo-X were able to defeat Xavier to end the first day of competition. On Sunday, Xavier lost it's first game on universe point against Eastern Kentucky, ending 13-12. B.L.O.B. then finished the day with another exciting win over Wooster and a good game against Cincinnati-Y. Xavier finished the UCX Autumn Showcase with an overall record of 4-4.
