Muskies Meet Neil Armstrong

American Hero was on hand for XU's 5-0 shutout of IU

  After Xavier downed IU 5-0 in one of their most impressive performances of the year thus far, they were graced with the presence of one of America's true heroes. Neil Armstrong visited the locker room after the game. He is the grandfather of freshman forward Andrew Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong was happy to answer any questions the players had and shared his stories of space travel. Judging from everyone's reactions they knew how special this occasion was and they knew that they just brushed shoulders with an icon. We all enjoyed this special treat and it is a moment we will all never forget, we hope Neil Armstrong enjoyed it as much as we did. The Muskies will use Mr. Armstrong's life as a source of inspiration for the rest of the season proving that nothing is impossible. Thanks again Mr. Armstrong!!
