Player Profile: Jack Doyle
Senior Jack Doyle is enjoying the final year of what has been a remarkable hockey career in the Cincinnati area. JD played his high school hockey at St. Xavier high and then brought his talents to Victory Parkway.
"To me, the biggest thing that Jack brings to our locker room is his calm demeanor and what he brings to the ice is a full effort every time he goes over the boards. He has gotten better every year for us but his growth as a person is what really stands out to me. As a younger player he would struggle at times with composure and dealing with adversity. He has come full circle on that and can now be the calming influence when all hell is breaking lose" said Coach Driscoll.
Jack will earn his degree in BS this Spring and hopes to pursue a career in business upon graduation.
What has been your favorite hockey memory while at Xavier:
"When we defeated OU who was a nationally ranked D2 team and we were an up and coming D3 program. In my mind, it was the game that put us on the map."
What will you miss the most?
"Bus trips. There is no better way to bond as a team than on a road trip. Those are the best times for sure."
