Honey Tree Stables
"Our home away from home..."
Located on 160 picturesque acres, Honey Tree Stables gives Xavier's Equestrian Team access to first rate amenities. The property is just gorgeous and has become a place of peace for the team. Far removed from the Cincinnati city life that students are around while at school, Honey Tree's Oxford OH location gives the team a chance to decompress.
The team carpools out to honey tree at least two times a week for private and group lessons. The barn is located 40 minutes away from campus, and although this may seem far the drive is totally worth it. These hours spent at Honey Tree give the team a chance to forget their worries of school and do what they love most: ride.
For the warmer months of the year the team enjoys riding along the scenic trails that Honey Tree offers them. The property also has a massive hunter derby field where Coach Sarah has set up a series of natural obstacles for the team to conquer. Sarah believes that if a rider is able to control their horse in a field of grass, then that rider will see the ride in an arena as a walk in the park. Check out this video of Honey Tree's riding trails!
During the Winter months Honey Tree has a large indoor arena with a viewing area for spectators. Connected directly to the tack room and aisles of stalls the indoor is a high class riding arena. This indoor arena sets HTS apart from surrounding barns in the area who do not have indoors, and for this Xavier is incredibly grateful to have access to such a high functioning facility. Check out this video that offers and inside look to HTS' facilities!
