"The development of the student’s intellectual capacity is the school’s most characteristic part. However, this development will be defective and even dangerous unless it is strengthened and completed by the training of the will and the formation of the character."

Academics
Club Sports at Xavier are more than just a game. Club Sport participation is an important part of the Jesuit philosophy of education that stresses the development of the mind, body and spirit of each student.
The Club Sports program is designed to serve the interests of Xavier University students by working collaboratively to create an educational environment which motivates and inspires student learning and personal development. Through fostering an integrated learning climate and facilitating a living learning lab experience, Club Sports participation will enhance our student's understanding of the benefits related to an educational setting outside the classroom.
Our student-athletes work diligently on and off the field and their academic accomplishments reflect their efforts. Please click on the link below to see the results of our student's efforts reflected in their respective Club grade point averages!
