Xavier Interfaith Club
Weekly Meetings
We are in the process of picking a new meeting time. Please go to this website to enter the times good for you.
We meet every Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the Brueggeman Center. We meet in the former garage, which has been converted into a sitting area and office.
Everyone is welcome at our weekly meetings. Feel free to stop by, we're always welcoming new faces!
The Brueggeman Center is located slightly behind University Apartments, beside the Manor House apartments. It is the starred building in the map to the right.
Rules and Conduct
- All people present participate as equals, regardless of religion, gender, race, ethnicity, class, national origin, and sexual orientation.
- People present are not obligated to declare or define their personal faith. Although sharing faith can help deepen dialogue and can be beneficial to discussion, no one should feel the need to self identify with a faith tradition.
- For those who do express their faith, we must remember that they are not representatives of their faith, nor do they need to defend the words or deeds of others who proclaim the same faith.
- Meetings focus on many things, ranging from planning to discussion. We hope our meetings are as fun as they are informative. A typical meeting involves event preparation, discussing current religion news items, reflection about personal questions, and (quite rarely) food!
