Xavier Interfaith Club

Local Connections

In the spirit of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi, the Franciscans Network supports Franciscans and other men and women who work to promote and protect human rights throughout the world.

The Franciscans Network often sponsors or leads interfaith discussions, book clubs, and other events in the Cincinnati area in which club members have participated.

MARCC is a coalition of judicatories, the local, decision-making bodies of national denominations. The coalition is a way of enabling the 17 groups to work together on a few local social concerns to make life better for people in metropolitan Cincinnati.

MARCC sponsors an interfaith high-school youth group that brings together teens to work on community service projects and talk about their faith. In the past, a Xavier Interfaith Club member has volunteered as a youth leader for the group.

Hillel Cincinnati's mission is to be a center for enriching the lives of Jewish college students in greater Cincinnati, to strengthen Jewish identity through social, cultural, religious and personal growth as well as to provide a broad range of programs and services in an atmosphere that is creative, energetic and pluralistic.

The Cincinnati center serves U.C. students as well as Xavier students, and the Xavier Interfaith Club is often invited to programs held by Hillel Cincinnati.
