Dance Background:
Prior to dance, I was a figure skater.  I figure skated competitively from age 3.  When I was 14, I began dancing in a Ukrainian dance ensemble.  Around that time I also became a part of three jazz/lyrical dance companies at Mary Kay Manning Dance Studio and took several ballet classes there.  In addition to figure skating and dance, I was a cheerleader throughout high school.

Favorite things about XUDT:
My absolute favorite thing about XUDT is all the girls on the team.  We all provide such great support to each other, at practice and outside of practice.  Competing, performing, and fundraising with this amazing group of people makes dancing even more enjoyable.  Competiting in the NDA National Championships was also a highlight of my first year on the team.
