Greece 2010
The Xavier University Study Abroad Greece program will provide students with authentic experiences in Greek culture. The trip is tentatively scheduled to take place June 20-July 12, with an optional additional five days in Turkey at the end. While in Athens Dr. Byrne and Dr. Dewey will guide students through famous ancient, Byzantine, and modern sites and museums. While traveling through the rest of Greece, knowledgeable, Greek-speaking guides will accompany us to places like Corinth, Delphi, Olympia, Mycenae, and Thessaloniki, just to name a few.
When the students are not on a tour or doing student reports, they will stay in three star hotels and pass the time in pools, on beaches, shopping, and enjoying Greek life under starlit skies.
