Alchemyst Club
The Alchemyst Club was established to inform and educate the Xavier community about the merits of science, especially chemistry and to lend support to the Xavier chemistry community. The club's purpose is to facilitate the propagation of chemical knowledge and to assist in making the chemistry major a viable option. Regular club activities include attendance at local American Chemical Society meetings, tutoring general and organic chemistry, and volunteering in the community. The club organizes field trips and invites guest speakers to discuss the many aspects of chemistry. Social activities round out the clubs programs.
Chemistry majors, students concentrating in chemistry and those interested in the study of medicine are invited to join the Alchemyst Club.
