Urban Plunge is an overnight urban immersion experience that takes place annually. It is for students who are interested in learning about poverty and homelessness, social justice, solidarity, and how to respond in light of their faith. This is not a service trip. We will be learning about poverty and homelessness by visiting agencies, listening to speakers, participating in simulation activities and small group discussions, etc. We will draw on faith through reflection and prayer. It is a great way to get to know other first and second year students with similar interests, to learn about the city, and to deepen and broaden our perspective on poverty and homelessness.
