Post-Graduate Service - Explore Your Future!

Considering a year or more of service beyond graduation? Many XU grads leave campus to serve around the corner or around the world each year. It is part of our Jesuit mission to not only be "men and women for and with others" during your time on campus, but beyond!

Where do your passions and skills meet the worlds most pressing needs?

"What is Post-Graduate Service anyway?"

In most traditional Post-Grad Service programs, all of your living expenses are covered including health insurance and your loans can be deferred. Many even come with an educational grant upon completion of the year that you can credit toward past or future learning. Don't let financial challenges get in the way of your desire to serve.

Post-Grad Service: Dine, Discuss, & Discern - Wed. January, 29th from 5:30-7PM in the CFJ (GSC 310)

Are you considering or actively applying for year or more of service after Xavier? If so, come to the CFJ for an informal dinner later this month with alums of a variety of post-grad programs and fellow seniors on similar paths. We’ll chat with one another over dinner, and hopefully walk away feeling a little more aware, prepared, supported, and hopeful. After all, that’s what Xavier is all about. RSVP to robertshawm@xavier.edu.

Post-Grad Volunteer Fair - October 2014

The Post-Graduate Volunteer Fair is open to all students considering opportunities in local, domestic, or international service after graduation. Visit with representatives of upwards of 40 organizations - including Peace Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Public Allies, and Americorps - to consider possibilities and make contacts. The atmosphere of the Fair is more relaxed than a typical Career Fair, yet respectful dress and resume copies are recommended.
The PGVF is held annually each October. 2014 Fair details will be available in mid-summer 2014.
