About the College of Arts and Sciences
In a world of colleges, you have the giant state schools and the pocket-sized private ones. And then you have Xavier, a Jesuit, Catholic, liberal arts college with about 7,000 students. It's large enough to offer top facilities and enriching opportunities, but small enough that students get the personal attention they need to thrive. Our campus is globally connected, but feels like a family. We consider it the perfect balance.
Specifically, the College of Arts and Sciences is the oldest and largest college at Xavier University. The college provides excellent liberal arts education in the Jesuit tradition that prepares students for careers, professional or graduate school, and life in a global society.
We're known for the quality of our education. A Xavier diploma is a ticket to opportunity but also a badge of merit. With numerous majors and minors, we probably have a program that interests you. Our classes are taught by real people, who love what they do. In the end, the winner is you.
