Making a Decision

Even with all of the research, it can still be a difficult decision when it comes to your major. Don’t fall victim to the “myths” of choosing a major. Keep in mind that you are the one who will be taking the classes for the next several semesters and there is no one “right” major. 

Get started by looking at the list of XU majors and minors. Cross off any majors you know you are not interested in pursuing, then circle ones you may want to investigate.

• Career Resource Library - Room 310, Gallagher Student Center.  Many major and career-related magazines and books can be viewed and some can even be checked out!
