On-Campus Employment Fair
The annual On-Campus Employment Fair is held on the first week of the fall semester. The opportunity to participate in the On-Campus Employment Fair is offered to students who have been awarded work study or university employment by the Office of Financial Aid. Awarded students will be notified via the R2X website (Road to Xavier - Next Steps).
Although jobs are not guaranteed, this is the best opportunity an awarded student will have to find employment. Before any student may start work they must complete all required Federal, State and University required forms such as tax, I-9 document (acceptable documents), direct deposit and other forms. Remember when presenting documents for the I-9 you must present original documents only - copies will not be accepted.
In case you are hired at the On-Campus Employment Fair have your documents ready. Otherwise the Career Development Office will be available to review and verify your forms during the following times: Monday-Thursday 9:00-10:00 a.m. AND 3:00-5:00 p.m. only.
For Departments needing to hire for open positions - Recruiting for your open positions at the On-Campus Employment Fair is the best opportunity for you to interview for open positions and meet candidates. At the Fair, your office will be assigned a table and students may visit your table to learn more about your position(s).
