Fall Employment Fair

If you wish to take advantage of the work portion of your financial aid package, don't forget to attend the Employment Fair that takes place near the beginning of the fall semester.  Awarded students are notified via email by the Office of Financial Aid. The event is further advertised at PREP and throughout the summer months.

Attending the Employment Fair is the best opportunity for you to interview for open positions in order to take advantage of your work student or university employment award. The opportunity to participate in the Fall Employment Fair is only offered to students who have been awarded work by the Office of Financial Aid. At the Fair, you will meet Xavier departmental supervisors and off-campus community service supervisors. You must be awarded Federal Work Study in your financial aid package to be eligible to interview for off-campus community service positions.

A few quick tips for the Fair:

  • Dress professionally (business casual)
  • Interview for multiple positions
  • Bring a copy of your class schedule (to determine your work availability)
  • Have fun!
