Alumni: Recruit/Volunteer at Xavier
Xavier alumni have a long and well-deserved reputation for supporting other Xavier alumni and students in a variety of endeavors. One way alumni can help is to share their rich career experiences and information with those exploring their first career path, those seeking to advance their current careers, or those making career changes or relocations. Xavier's Career Services Center offers the following ways for interested alumni to become involved.
Job development network
Xavier alumni from across the country are invited to participate in job development for Xavier students and alumni. The Career Services Center serves as a focal point for job listings, and will post job information in Xavier eRecruiting, an online database that is available to Xavier students and alumni 24 hours a day. Employers may review published resumes of students and alumni registered with the office. To support job development, interested alumni may advise us about current full-time positions within their organizations. To assist Xavier students in getting marketable experience prior to graduation, alumni can notify the Career Services Center of available paid internships and career-related summer positions with their organizations. Alumni can also encourage their organization's personnel department to contact the Center to learn more about our services to employers including: on-campus recruiting, resume referral, and internship/cooperative experiences.
Pre-Health and Pre-Law Mentor Programs
These mentor programs will allow students to gain meaningful exposure to the realities of careers in health and law. Please contact the Career Services Center at (513) 745-3141 if you are interested in volunteering for either of these programs.
For additional ideas on how to become an active alumni, please contact the Alumni office at 513 745-3000 or 1-800-344-4698.
