The Women's Issues in the Workplace Summit is a half-day professional development conference which will culminate with an etiquette luncheon. This event is made possible by a grant sponsored by the Women of Excellence Giving Circle and executed by the Career Services Center. This event is free for Xavier students, alumni and mentors.
WKRC-TV Evening News Anchor Cammy Dierking will offer a keynote address about the power of a positive attitude - especially in a tough economy. Following the keynote, concurrent sessions will include the following topics:
• Making the Most of your Mentoring Relationship
• Achieving Work/Life Balance
• Negotiating a Job Offer: For Women, It’s More than Just Negotiating Salary
• Being a Woman for Others
• Making your Contacts Count: The Importance of Networking to Women in the Workplace
The summit concludes with a professional etiquette luncheon presented by Mary Starvaggi of The Etiquette Advantage.
