Mission Statement

The Career Development Office supports the mission, goals, and Jesuit values of Xavier University by providing comprehensive and developmental career related services to all University constituents. We collaborate with campus and community partners to connect undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni with resources to achieve meaningful careers over their lifetime. We do this by providing,

• Individualized career advising and coaching,
• Opportunities to develop professional skills through student employment, mentoring, and experiential learning; and
• Educational programming related to career and job search preparation and graduate school planning.

The overarching goal of the Career Development Office is to guide students through their major and career decision making process as well as their transition to professional life.
