As a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium, Xavier joins colleges and universities that are dedicated to helping active-service military and veterans and their families get college degrees.

  • Yellow Ribbon Program
    The Post-9/11 GI Bill pays up to the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition. As a private university, Xavier's tuition and fees exceed that amount. Consequently, to provide needed assistance, Xavier University intends to participate in the new Yellow Ribbon Program and work with the Department of Veterans Affairs to make additional funds available for your education. Xavier has offered military instruction on campus since 1877. The University’s Military Science/ ROTC Program is nationally recognized among the 272 ROTC programs nationwide and has earned numerous General MacArthur Awards in recognition of successful cadet training, performance and GPA.
