Xavier Football's New(er) Head Football Coach

McCormick Takes Over to Lead the Muskies into 2011 | May 23, 2011

The Xavier University Club Football team has announced Sean McCormick as the new head coach.  McCormick has been an assistant coach with Purcell-Marian, Summit Country Day, and Northwest high schools.  He is also the 'How To Play Football' contributing writer for About.com, a subsidiary of the New York Times.

The Xavier Club Football team is a member of the Midwestern Club Football Conference.  The 2011 season schedule includes games against conference members University of Michigan-Flint, Miami, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, Ohio State, and Marquette.

Xavier club football won the MCFC championship in 2007 and 2008.
