Our recent graduates have left campus for an uncertain world. As in past years, we realize that the best demonstration of our good work are the diverse paths that our students follow after their university studies. The following list of language majors and minors clearly shows the wide variety of combinations possible to language students. Their success in a difficult economy demonstrates the value of language studies in virtually any career plan.

Katy Baldwin (Spanish) will work as a benefits manager for the New York Taxi Alliance. Her responsibilities will include securing access to healthcare and insurance for taxi workers, as well as working on health and safety legislation. During her interview, the supervisor cited her Spanish studies as huge benefit for being offered the position.
Kristen Blandford (Spanish) has been accepted into the Spanish Ministry of Education's Language Assistants program and will be assigned to a primary or secondary school in the Madrid region of Spain.
Kali Chatham (Spanish) will enter a graduate program in genetic counseling at the University of Arkansas.
Barbara Danver (Spanish) has accepted a position in the management training program of the Target Corporation.
Natasha D'Agrosa (Spanish) also has been accepted into the Spanish Ministry of Education's Language Assistants program and will be assigned to a primary or secondary school in the Madrid region of Spain.
Danna Deans (Spanish) is pursing a Master of Education degree at Xavier University.
Marie DeGross (French) will work in the Proctor & Gamble Hair Care Product Research Team at Ipsos Marketing in Cincinnati. Ipsos Marketing is a division of Ipsos, a French survey-based marketing research company headquartered in Paris, France.
Amanda Edwards (Spanish) is working in a marketing position with GE Aircraft Engines.
Emily Foltz (Spanish) has accepted a position teaching eighth-grade Spanish in Milford (OH) Junior High School.
Vanessa Galindo (Spanish) has accepted a nursing position at Mercy Hospital Fairfield.
Jarmila Kavecanska (French) will enter the graduate program in French at Ohio State University.
Krista Kutz (Spanish) will begin graduate studies in the University of Chicago Divinity School.
Joseph Lehnert (Spanish) will begin study in the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
Laura King (Spanish) has been accepted in Teach for America, and will teach Spanish in a public school in Phoenix, AZ.
Dhwani Mehta (Spanish) will begin studies at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Matthew Robinson (Spanish) also has been accepted in Teach for America, and will teach Spanish in a public school in Baltimore, MD.
Ashleigh Sanders (German) will enter the graduate program in German at Georgetown University.
Lauren Stuy (Spanish) has completed certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and is working in Salamanca, Spain.
Pete Telaroli (Modern Language & International Economics) is awaiting assignment in the Peace Corps.
William Welty (Spanish) will begin graduate studies in English at the University of Cincinnati.
Shaye Worthman (Spanish) will teach English at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in Mexico.
