On Tuesday, March 10 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Xavier University’s graduate department will offer a free information session for its Master’s of Education & Counseling graduate programs. The session will be held in the Schiff Conference Center on Xavier’s campus, where plenty of free parking is available. There are many possibilities for financial assistance for graduate course work at Xavier. Xavier offers a Master of Education in Administration, Elementary Education, Montessori Education, Multicultural Literature for Children, Reading, Secondary Education, Special Education, Sport Administration, and the Master of Arts in School Counseling or Community Counseling. These are professional degrees designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a school counselor or as a professional clinical counselor and are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
For the convenience of students, Xavier now offers some M.Ed. classes at off-site locations: Wilmington High School, Covington Catholic High School, Glen Este High School, Oak Hills High School, and Middletown Fenwick High School.
