Piano sale this weekend benefits music department

Pianos for sale include new and used, grand, baby grand and more | October 18, 2002

The department of music is selling its collection of pianos at a public auction on Sunday, Oct. 20, from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Cintas Center. Interested buyers can make a private appointment prior to the public auction, on Saturday, Oct. 19, to preview or purchase pianos in advance. The number of private appointments is limited, however. A portion of the proceeds benefits the music department, which is replacing its older instruments for new ones. Pianos for sale include new and used grand and baby grand pianos from the Baldwin and Kawai piano companies. In addition, decorator consoles, studios, professional uprights, players and digital pianos are available. All instruments have been professionally maintained and carry warranties. Financing and delivery options are available on site. This event is free and open to the public. Viewing and sales are on a first-come, first-serve basis. To make a private appointment, call 513 936-8724. For more information, call Frank Seta at 513 936-8742.
