The Movement Series presents "Reality TV: Do you see me?"

Calling all students and faculty! | October 28, 2010

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is presenting it's second part of the Movement: Political and Social Journeys with "Reality TV: Do You See Me?" on Monday, November 1, 2010, at 4pm, in the Conaton Learning Commons, Room 412.

This event will discuss stereotypes created by the media to define beauty and how that affects our society as a whole. Body image, self-esteem/hatred and identity awareness will also be discussed, emphasizing the roles these influences play on our psychological development. We hope to create greater dialogue on this important topic and look forward to seeing you there!

Xavier University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, a department in the Division of Student Life and Leadership, exists to help the University realize its diversity goals.  Multicultural Affairs provides services and programs to enrich the academic, cultural and social experiences of Xavier students.
