Xavier University alumnus Robert Dahlstrom is making a presentation about green marketing curricula, conducting environmental marketing research, fostering sustainability efforts in the community and the relationship between the firm and the environment.
The free discussion, co-sponsored by Xavier’s Department of Marketing and Sustainability Committee, is open to the public. It takes place at 3:30 p.m. today, Friday, March 12, in Kelley Auditorium in Xavier’s Alter Hall.
Dahlstrom is the founding director of the Von Allmen Center for Green Marketing in the Gatton College of Business at the University of Kentucky. He is also Bloomfield Endowed Professor of Marketing in the Gatton College. He received his bachelor's degree from Xavier and his PhD from the University of Cincinnati. He has been a visiting professor and a Fulbright scholar at the Norwegian School of Management in Oslo, has taught in Austria and Greece, and is widely published in business journals. His book, "Green Marketing Management," is being published later this year.
The Von Allmen Center for Green Marketing strives to expand the knowledge of green marketing and to create and enhance executive and student educational opportunities through the establishment and maintenance of scholarly green marketing research that contributes to marketing practice and theory.
