The theme for the 13th Annual Women of Color Luncheon is “The Promotion of Excellence: Education, Media, and Women of Color.” The luncheon will be held at the Cintas Center Banquet Room on Xavier University’s campus Wednesday, March 26 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The public is welcome and cost per person is $25.00. The luncheon speaker is Procter & Gamble executive Susan Mboya, Ph.D. A native of
Ms. Mboya’s passion and commitment extend far beyond marketing and advertising. She is the founder of the Zawadi program (“Zawadi” is Swahili for “gift.”), a college scholarship program that benefits needy young women. For this effort, she has been awarded a Jack Avrett Spirit Award from the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and as a place in the AAF Hall of Achievement.
