Xavier to Put Faces on the Darfur Crisis

Israeli college student discusses efforts to organize relief effort | February 26, 2008

Israeli college student Elisheva Milikowski will discuss her efforts to organize a relief network for African refugees fleeing to Israel on March 9 from 2-4 p.m. in the Schiff Family Conference Center at Xavier University. Milikowski’s unique perspective includes stirring accounts of refugees merged into a presentation that puts names and faces on the staggering statistics on the crisis in Darfur.
