Office of human resources names new leader

Shari Mickey-Boggs comes from The Ohio State University where she worked for 12 years | October 8, 2007

After 12 years as a human resources professional at The Ohio State University, Shari Mickey-Boggs is headed to Xavier to run the office of human resources. Mickey-Boggs was selected for the new position of associate vice president for human resources effective Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Mickey-Boggs is currently director for organization and human resources consulting at Ohio State. In that role, her responsibilities include strategy formulation, marketing, budget forecasting, talent development and integration of technology and processes. She also provides proactive and strategic consulting to support the human resource needs of the university.

Mickey-Boggs joined Ohio State in 1995 and has served the university’s office of human resources in a variety of ways. Prior to joining Ohio State, she held similar positions with the Rehabilitation Services Commission, Episcopal Retirement Homes and Big Bear Stores.

A native of Lancaster, Ohio, Mickey-Boggs earned an M.B.A. from Franklin University in Columbus and a bachelor's degree in political science from The Ohio State University.
