Members of armed forces get free admission to men's basketball game in honor of Veterans Day

In celebration of Veterans Day and to show appreciation to the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces, Xavier athletics would like to invite all veterans and active military to attend the Xavier men’s basketball home opener on Saturday, Nov. 11, against Coastal Carolina.

Xavier athletics is providing free admission to this Saturday’s game at
Cintas Center to all active and inactive members of the U.S. Armed Forces and all veterans. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Cintas Center.

“Veterans' Day is a time to reflect and honor all of our military for their patriotism and willingness to serve for our country," says men's head basketball coach Sean Miller. "We are reminded daily of the commitment and sacrifices made by the men and women who currently serve or served our country. We would be honored to have our Veterans join us at the Cintas Center on Saturday."

Military personnel receive free admission to Saturday’s game by presenting a government issued Military ID or evidence of military service at the Cintas Center ticket office. Tickets can be secured in advance or on game day. Guests attending the game with military
personnel receive the group discount of $2 off the individual
ticket price.
