They'll catch the tail end of the 10th annual STYUKA dance marathon that begins Friday, April 23, at 6:00 p.m. and continues until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Gallagher Student Center. Students may dance as couples or singles and may take five-minute breaks. Donations collected by the dancers will benefit a local non-profit ecological organization.
Another college celebration takes place with the student activities council’s block party on Saturday in the greenspace located in front of the Gallagher Student Center. The Musketeers are off to a running start this weekend as the cross-country team competes in the Louisville Invitational in Kentucky on Friday. On Saturday, the cross-country team is running east to participate in Wilmington College’s Invitational.
The men’s golf team travels to Akron for the weekend to compete in the First Energy Invitational. This meet follows the team winning its second tournament of the year at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate last weekend.
The baseball team travels to Philadelphia for an Atlantic 10 Conference game against La Salle University at noon on Saturday and Sunday. The women’s golf team is also on the road on Sunday as it participates in the CAA Championships in Midlothian, Va.
