Tuesday afternoon, the black student association sponsors "A Renaissance of Culture" celebration from 1:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. in the Gallagher Student Center. The daylong event begins with a "wrap session" with Cincinnati area authors, and also includes a book fair and an art exhibit. At 8:00 p.m., Step Africa!, a collaborative of youth artists from the United States and South Africa, is performing in the student center's theater. Their performance highlights the African-American art form of stepping and its link to South African dance. An open mic session and coffee hour immediately follow the performance. The week's Musketeer athletics kick off Wednesday, when the men's basketball team travels to New York for an Atlantic 10 conference game against St. Bonaventure University at 7:30 p.m. The team, 16-9, is hoping to extend its six-game winning streak. The game is being televised on the Fox Sports Network.
On Thursday, the men's tennis team hosts the University of Dayton for a 1:00 p.m. match.
