Contemporary issues forum meets to discuss churches

Panel takes an ecumenical look at how churches work | September 27, 2002

The next contemporary issues forum is meeting Monday, Sept. 30, in the Conaton Board Room, second floor of Schmidt Hall. The topic is “Laity, Ministry and Church Structure: An Ecumenical Look at How Churches Work.” Refreshments are being served at 2:45 p.m. and the discussion takes place from 3:00 pm.-4:45 p.m. Members of the panel are Ginger McKenzie, associate professor of education; Leo Klein, S.J., vice president of mission and ministry; and the Rev. Ethan Raath, adjunct professor of communication arts and theology. Faculty, staff and administrators are invited to attend the discussion. The event is being sponsored by the Jesuit community at Xavier.
