The Xavier University Department of Art is pleased to present an exhibition of student work February 25-March 27. Work from studio disciplines will be exhibited - ceramics, drawing, fibers, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture.
Ceramic sculptures created utilizing many techniques will be presented. Drawings and paintings include a variety of media. Fiber techniques include weaving, coiling, needle felting, silk paper and mixed media. A variety of printmaking processes will be presented. Sculpture includes various materials and processes, relief and sculpture in the round.
Please join us for the artists’ reception, Friday, March 8, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the Xavier University Art Gallery in the A. B. Cohen Center. Meet our student artists as you enjoy the art! Refreshments will be provided by the Society of Visual Arts.
