Development efforts win award

Council for Advancement and Support of Education honors office of development | September 26, 2002

The office of development won an award this year from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and Wealth ID for overall performance in educational fundraising and programming. CASE, an organization that provides essential tools for education professionals, teams up each year with Wealth ID, a provider of fund-raising information for nonprofit institutions, to give out awards to development programs. The award was presented to the University’s office of development based on overall performance and improvement in educational fundraising. Over 1,000 educational institutions were eligible for the award. Volunteer judges use various factors to recognize institutions including those that show solid program growth, breadth in the base of support, and other indications of a mature, well-maintained program.
