Chris Klug is the Assistant Director of the Center for Veterans Affairs at Xavier University. He is a veteran, having served 3 years as an infantryman in the United States Army. Chris did a year-long tour in Iraq and has received the following honors: Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon.
Chris received his Bachelors of Liberal Arts from Xavier University and is currently enrolled in Xavier’s Executive Human Resource Development Graduate Program. In addition to his military and educational experience, Chris has a business background that includes recruitment, sales and networking in higher education.
With his combination of skills and his commitment to the Armed Forces and veterans, Chris is eager to recruit veterans and support them through their journey of higher education at Xavier University.
