Biography:

Rashmi Assudani, Ph.D. is Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship in the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. She received a Ph.D. in Management (with a focus on Strategy & Organizations) at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She has earned other educational degrees from The Netherlands and India. Her research focuses on innovation, knowledge management, and strategy in organizations. Rashmi’s research is published in several outlets, including Journal of Knowledge ManagementLearning and Individual DifferencesIEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, South Asian Journal of Global Business Research, Journal of Managerial Issues, Ethics & Behavior, among others.
 
Rashmi is the recipient of several awards including Women of Excellence award; O’Connor Fellow award (for research) and CINCO Most Innovative Educator award.
Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Managerial Behavior & Skills; Strategy & Organizations; Global Strategic Thinking; Corporate Entrepreneurship & Innovation; Creativity & Innovation; Strategic Innovation; Doing Business in India.
 
She serves as the current Chair of the Management & Entrepreneurship Department at Williams College of Business; as an Executive Board Member of the American Council of Education, Women’s Network of Ohio; and as a member of the Scientific Panel of International Society of Professional Innovation Management.
