Biography:

Greg is a native Cincinnatian and Xavier Alumnus of the Class of 2001.  As an undergraduate at Xavier, he majored in English and completed minors in Theology and Peace Studies, all while developing a passion for exploring the intersection between faith and justice, inside and outside of the classroom. Since then, Greg's work has taken him across the country and globe, from the Jesuit Retreat Center in Milford, Ohio to Campus Ministry at Boston College - always in the context of Jesuit education and inspired by Ignatian Spirituality.  Some of his areas focus have been: retreat facilitation, domestic and international immersion trips, residence hall ministry, spiritual direction, exploration of voluntary simplicity, liturgy, and alumni engagement.  Some of the important places of personal and professional transformation for Greg have included retreats and immersion trips to Colorado, Ukraine, New Mexico, El Salvador, and the Appalachian Trail in Southwest Virginia.

Greg returned to Xavier in the summer of 2010 to join the Dorothy Day Center for Faith and Justice and now serves as the Director. He and his wife and two sons live in the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood.  He is excited to work with the energetic and dynamic staff of the CFJ and to be a small part in mentoring students at Xavier to become people in solidarity for and with others.
