<p><span class="highlight2"><em>Free Admission</em></span></p>
<p>James Wiederhold will present a recital at Gallagher Theater, performing works ranging between many woodwind instruments.&nbsp;Mr. Wiederhold is a senior Music Performance major with a discipline in Woodwind Studies. He studies with local professionals such as Eugene Marquis, Rebecca Andres, Lon Bussell, Lauren Piccirillo, and Polina Bespalko. On November 8th, James will be a featured soloist performing Henri Rabaud&rsquo;s<em style="font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; ">Solo de Concours</em>&nbsp;for clarinet with the Xavier University Symphonic Winds. He can also be heard accompanying Xavier University&rsquo;s Men Chorus, being a featured soloist with the Men and Women&rsquo;s Choruses, adding a woodwind sound to the Chamber Orchestra, as well as playing alto saxophone and flute in Xavier University&rsquo;s Jazz Ensemble. Xavier has provided James the opportunity to play in the pit orchestra for&nbsp;<em style="font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; ">Urinetown</em>,&nbsp;<em style="font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; ">Pirates of Penzance</em>&nbsp;and<em style="font-style: italic; font-weight: normal; ">Hairspray</em>, and his dream is to one day play for Broadway shows in New York City. He will be graduating from Xavier University at the conclusion of the fall 2012 semester.</p>
