Three teams from the Williams College of Business at Xavier University went head-to-head in round one of the ACG Cincinnati Cup competition. The winning team members are Nathan Hicks, Matt Champa, Steven Davis and Sunil Kumar. They will advance to the ACG Cincinnati Cup finals on February 20 at Xavier’s Cintas Center.

Xavier University announces a call for submissions to the annual Art at the X National Juried Exhibition: Multicultural Expressions of Faith, which will run from Aug. 23-Sept. 28, 2013. Artists are invited to submit original works of art in all media - painting, sculpture, ceramics, fibers, printmaking, photography, graphic design, and mixed-media – that reflect diverse expressions of faith and spirituality.

Fortin Award for outstanding teaching and scholarship in the humanities. The award was established and endowed by Michael Fortin in honor of his father, Roger Fortin, professor of history and former provost and academic vice president of Xavier.

Xavier University is participating in the "Your Shining Moment" video challenge, celebrating 75 years of March Madness and Xavier's participation in the "Big Dance." Video manager Cliff Jenkins put together a video retrospective of Xavier's runs in the tourney.
