The Xavier XMBA Alumni Network is arranging the first annual XMBA Build Our Cincinnati Community Day.

Please mark your calendar for Saturday, November 16th and plan to join us as we participate in a Habitat for Humanity building project in Northside.

If you're not familiar with Habitat for Humanity, they are an organization that works across the US and around the world to provide housing for unfortunate families that have struggled to find adequate shelter.

Their mission statement is to create "A world where everyone has a decent place to live."

They build dreams for families that thought they could never afford decent housing.

Volunteers lend their help through Habitat for Humanity to build these houses. There is a very active chapter right here in Cincinnati with dozens of active building projects.

Here is a link to our local chapter :

So, here is the plan:
• The Xavier XMBA Alumni Network has committed to getting 15 to 20 volunteers out to a building site in Northside (close intersection of 75 and 74) at 4136 Kirby Ave. on Saturday, November 16th.

• You donate your time in the morning (8:00 AM to 12:30 PM) or the afternoon (12:30 PM to 4:00 PM) to help build this house. We encourage to bring your spouse/partner and family.
The crew at the site will direct us to our assigned tasks.

• If you're available, and willing to spend Saturday, November 16th literally building our Cincinnati community please respond to Tim Cholvat at Cholvat@cinci.rr.com or 513-519-0321. We would love to have a strong showing.

• Lunch will be provided to the participants.

Xavier and the Cincinnati community has given so much to us over the years. Please support this new annual tradition to give back to our community
