Biography:
Josephine Achieng Lando
Xavier University, Class of 2014
Josephine is an International Business and Entrepreneurship major from Nairobi; Kenya in East Africa. This is her second semester working at the women's center. She is excited about her role in events and planning because she has a passion for the advancement and education of women. She wants to use this opportunity to create awareness about different issues facing women today. Her goal is to go back to Africa upon graduation, and start a non-profit organization aimed at teaching single and widowed women how to use their self acquired skills to start and manage their own businesses, so that they can become self dependent and productive members of the society.
