Dr. Michelle Flaum Hall is a professional clinical counselor with supervisory endorsement, and is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling at Xavier. She earned her doctorate in Counselor Education at the University of Cincinnati, Master of Science in Education in Community Counseling at the University of Dayton, and Bachelor of Arts in Greek and Latin from The Ohio State University. She has over ten years of experience in private practice and works with adults and couples using an integrative approach of Cognitive-Behavioral, Existential, and Mindfulness-Based Therapies. Dr. Hall’s publications and research interests focus on Counselor Training, Treatment and Prevention of Medical Trauma, Holistic Health, Mindfulness and Counselor Self-Care, and Early Faculty Development.
