Biography:
Dr. Giluk holds a Ph.D. in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from the University of Iowa, where she was a Presidential Fellow from 2005-2010. She was also named an Outstanding Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa for 2009-2010. Before her academic career, she gained ten years of professional experience in Human Resource Management in the retail, hospitality, and pharmaceutical industries. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Dr. Giluk teaches courses in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. Her research interests include academic-practitioner relationships, individual differences, and workplace training and development. Her work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal and Personality and Individual Differences. She is currently working on a book chapter (co-authored with Sara Rynes) to be published by Oxford University Press in the Handbook of Evidence-Based Management.
