Biography:

Lisa Monast received her Master of Arts in Theology from Xavier University, where she focused on feminist interpretation of scripture, women in early Christianity, and multicultural perspectives in theology. Those emphases, coupled with Lisa’s sense of wonder at the human experience, ethic of compassion, and strong commitment to socio-religious exploration, are hallmarks of her classroom approach and theological direction. Her work in the mental health arena is an extension of those values and interests and is a treasured dimension of her life.
