Biography:

Chad Arnow maintains an active schedule as a performer on trombone, bass trombone, and euphonium and as a teacher of middle school, high school, and college low brass students. He has served as bass trombonist of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra since 2000-2001. He has also served as a substitute and extra musician with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra since 1998, performing with them several times a year and appearing on four of their recordings. He has also performed with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, the West Virginia Symphony, Richmond Symphony Orchestra, and Kentucky Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his orchestral performances, he has also performed in numerous small ensembles, including the Kim Kelly Orchestra-Big Band, the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Brass Quintet, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet.

Chad received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Trombone Performance from the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. He has studied with Tony Chipurn (retired principal trombonist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra) Peter Norton (bass trombonist of the CSO and former principal trombonist of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra) and Timothy J. Northcut (Associate Professor of Music-Tuba and Euphonium).
